TAMPA, FL – Tori Bar is opening its doors on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 442 W Kennedy Boulevard in the space that was previously occupied by Fly Bar, according to a social media post from the company. Businesses nearby include Oxford Exchange and Retreat bar and it is just across the street from the University of Tampa.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight. These times are likely to change as the restaurant expands. Walk-ins will be accepted for now.

The bar comes from same team behind Izakaya Tori and will be a Japanese-inspired pub. It will feature Japanese whisky, craft cocktails, highballs, grilled yakitori skewers, handrolls, sashimi and assorted Japanese tapas. Izakaya Tori was ranked on Yelp’s Top 100 restaurants for 2023 at No. 49.

Not many details have been released about the bar concept so far, but they did host an influencer event last weekend, so we will likely see more about it soon.
