Mochinut Tampa is opening Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. after delaying their previous opening. It will be located at 1401 North 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. The concept has already swept Orlando by storm, as well as the nation, and is now moving across I-4 to Tampa.

According to the brand, Mochi donut is the “product of the happy union between a Japanese rice cake or mochi and American-style doughnuts, which originated in Hawaii.” Mochinuts are coated and glazed with various flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, matcha, earl grey, etc., and topped with delectable toppings like cookies, fruits, flakes, nuts, etc.

Unique flavors include popular current trends such as ube, black sesame, black sugar, churro, and more.

The dessert cafe will also focus on selling Korean hotdogs. Korean rice flour hotdog are hot dogs coated in rice flour batter that comes with a choice of spicy sausage, mozzarella, or 1/2 dog and 1/2 mozzarella cheese. The batter-dipped sticks are covered with optional toppings, such as diced potatoes and breadcrumbs, and deep fried to order, which makes the hot dog shell really crispy. It’s a popular street food in South Korea.

In addition to the snacks, Mochinut is also selling assorted bubble tea beverages with flavors including matcha, black sugar, ube, Thai tea, milk tea, and more. The bubble tea makes it a complete experience for those with a sweet tooth.
