NEWS: M. Bird rooftop bar and lounge now open at Armature Works Tampa

Comments Off on NEWS: M. Bird rooftop bar and lounge now open at Armature Works Tampa

The minds behind Armature Works, Ciro’s, Boca, and Ichicoro have joined forces to create M. Bird, a rooftop bar and lounge, on top of Armature Works Tampa, a historic building that has been recently restored and opened a mixed-use space in Tampa Heights.

The bar program features a tropically-driven craft-cocktail menu with VIP bottle service and a selection of rums and other sugarcane spirits. Some cocktails on the menu include Mai Tai ($ 13), Hemingway Daquiri ($ 10), Singani Sour ($ 11), and Daisy de Santiago ($ 13).

Small plates will be available for visitors including vaca fritas tostones ($ 16), citrus glazed branzino ($ 28), jerk chicken egg rolls ($ 15), and a bite-sized version of mofongo ($ 15).

Taryn Buck, co-owner of Armature Works, shares: “M.Bird’s origin comes from the Florida State Bird, the mockingbird, with live greenery and pops of color, guests will feel as if they are stepping into another city…it will be a completely different and unique experience.”

Decor-wise the bar and lounge with have a mod-dec design with unique seating options. The rooftop bar offers unobstructed views of the skyline in Tampa and waterfront views of the Hillsborough River. Guests must be 21+ to access M. Bird and reservations are required for parties of 6 or more.

The sold-out Rooftop Eve New Year’s Eve party was the hottest and chicest place to be seen ringing in 2016. The ladies were glitzy and sparkled, while the men dressed to impress. The top floor of a parking garage was  transformed into the theme, Midnight in the Garden with guests rocking to the Frequency Band and DJ Papi. The champagne flowed and was served by buff men in togas. Proceeds benefitted the DeBartolo Family Foundation.

The top floor of Tampa’s Ft. Brooke Parking Garage will host one of the chicest and hottest places to ring in 2016. The new location, this year, will offer amazing views of the downtown Tampa skyline and fireworks. The theme this year is Midnight in the Garden and while there are lots of details and logistics with creating a pop-up venue, organizer Monica Varner has it covered. “I’m excited to be able to create a unique, one of a kind experience for guests to ring in the new year,” says Varner. The event promises to have stunning visual effects, glamorous décor, a grand champagne bar and much more. The Frequency Band will provide high energy dance music, along with the DJ Papi spinning the current hits.

“The Rooftop Eve was rated in the top 10 things to do in the state of Florida for NYE and with our partnership with The DeBartolo Family Foundation, you can count on not only the place to be, but with the celebrities you would want to ring in the New year with,” says Rooftop Eve, co-founder Stephen Hickey.

The Rooftop Eve is an all-inclusive experience with a top-shelf open bar & unlimited Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne with tickets starting at $ 175/person. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.TheRooftopEve.com.
