Miracle at Mezzo is coming to St. Petersburg starting on Black Friday (November 29th) 2019. The event started in New York City back in 2014 at Mace cocktail bar and is now at Intermezzo located at 1111 Central Avenue in Downtown St. Petersburg.

According to the press release, “each Miracle and Sippin’ Santa location will celebrate the season with a festive menu of signature cocktails, décor of lights, garlands, ribbons, and tchotchkes inspired by nostalgic vintage Christmas decorations, and a soundtrack of holiday songs.” Intermezzo is one of over 100 locations nationwide participating in the event.

Owner/GM Jarrett Sabatini has put together a calendar of events to keep the pop-up busy throughout the holiday season:

  • Monday December 2nd – World’s Largest Ugly Sweater Party – Over 100 Miracle locations around the world participating! Don your best (tackiest) garb and join in the revelry
  • Monday December 9th – Holiday Trivia with Santa Claus
  • Tuesday December 10th – Holiday Karaoke
  • Thursday December 19th – Songs Around a Christmas Tree with performer J.T. Brown 7PM-10PM

“In our sixth year, we’re excited to keep making Miracle better year after year while keeping our true love for the holiday season alive,” says Greg Boehm, owner and creator of Miracle.

“We offer a true experience for our guests as soon as they walk through the doors. Our partners across the U.S. and world are all dedicated to delivering exceptional visits with quality cocktails.”

Comments Off on MCAT to offer service to Pinellas County starting April 1

Starting Friday, April 1, Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) will begin limited express service between Bradenton and St. Petersburg through its MCAT Connexion.

Officials say the first bus daily will depart from the DeSoto Station starting at 9:00 a.m., and should arrive at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital/Medical Center by 10:15 a.m.  A return trip departs at 10:40am.

A second run to St. Pete starts at 2:00 p.m. and returns at 3:40 p.m.

William Steele, Transit Manager for MCAT, worked with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) to create the new Skyway Connexion Limited Stop Express.  He says his twenty years working for PTSA helped to build this collaboration.

"They’re open to the inter-county service because it serves a market that they’d like to fulfill, as well," said Steele.

Steele goes on to say the new service across the Howard Frankland Bridge opens job opportunities, shopping, and services to MCAT Customers they could not reach previously.

For additional information on the new Skyway Connexion Limited Stop Express Service, visit the MCAT Website.
