Kura Sushi, an innovative and tech interactive Japanese revolving sushi restaurant concept, opened its first location in Central Florida at Vineland Pointe at 11579 Regency Village Dr, Orlando, FL 32821 on Saturday, August 27. Kura Sushi currently has 40 locations in the United States and has operated in Japan since 1977.

The restaurant concept focuses on savory Japanese dishes made with natural, premium ingredients free of artificial sweeteners, seasonings, preservatives and colorings.

Menu items includes over 140 menu items including Aburi Eel with Miso Cream Cheese, Garlic Ponzu Salmon, Hamachi Tataki with Ponzu Oil, Umami Oil Seared Beef, Inari, Ikura, and more. Soy paper hand rolls are available, in addition to regular hand rolls.

They utilize a prize reward system for guests based on order count. A short anime plays on tablets at tables after every 5 sushi plates are dispensed into the plate slot where items are returned. Prizes are received after every 15 sushi plates are dispensed into the plate slot. The Kura Sushi Rewards program allows guests to earn a $ 5.00 reward for every $ 50.00 spent

The first Demon Slayer x Kura Sushi Bikkura Pon Prize Collaboration was introduced last month and included rubber keychains, lanyards and can badges that feature Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba main characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke, among others.

Now Kura Sushi has partnered with PAC-MAN for the first PAC-MAN x Kura Sushi Bikkura Pon Prize Collaboration with prizes including rubber keychains, cable protectors and acrylic stickers.

Tech is being used for tables with Kur-B the KuraBot, which delivers drink orders tableside. The robot lowers wait time on drinks.

Normal hours of operation at Kura Sushi are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
